After not being able to have children for over 9 years, enduring infertility tests and crying myself to sleep some nights, trying to be happy for my friends who had children time after time... the happiest moment was when the doctor laid my first born daughter in my arms after giving birth and my husband there by my side through labor and delivery. I turned to him and said, "I am so happy!" Tears streaming down my face and pure love overflowing in my heart.

It's the same everyday. That moment when we all wake up and my husband reaches over to spoon me and then my sweet two-year old climbs in to be cuddled too. That is my happiest moment, holding the people I love the most oh, so close.

OK HERE I GO....MY FIRST HAPPIEST MOMENT WAS WHEN I MARRIED THE MOST SWEETEST AND HELPFUL GUY I HAVE EVER MET (SONIL). IT WILL BE 12YRS ON MAY 1OTH.

THE SECOND WAS WHEN I GAVE BIRTH TO MY ONLY SON ON THE 1OTH MAY....WHICH IS ALSO MY BIRTHDAY. BEST EVER BIRTHDAY GIFT A MUM COULD ASK FOR.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST AFTER 3 MISCARRAGES I GAVE BIRTH TO A BEAUTIFUL ANGEL SARNYA WHO WAS PART OF A TWIN THAT DID NOT MAKE IT.
I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR ANYTHING ELSE MORE PRECIOUS THAN HAVING THE THREE MOST MODERFUL GIFT THAT GOD HAS GIVEN ME MY HUSBAND SONIL/DAUGHTER SARNYA(6YRS) AND SON AMEER (11YRS)
HAPPY MOMENTS ARE WHAT YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL MAKES OF IT FROM DAY TO DAY.

I, like everyone else, have had many happy moments. But, no.1 on my list, would be the day I asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart and be my Saviour!! I was 12 years old. God has been with me, my whole life, through the good times and the bad, and I wouldn't be here, if it wasn't for Him!! He is SO FAITHFUL AND A LOVING< FRIEND!!! My second happiest moment, would be when I married my sweet Robbie. I got to have 26 wonderful years with him, and I LOVED HIM SO MUCH!! He passed away, this past May 29th, from heart failure, at only 58 years old. My other 4 happiest moments, would be the births of each of my children. Joshua,Timothy, Stephanie, and Jeremy. All so precious to me!! And to see my only daughter, give birth to my only grandaughter, Kairi, was SO SPECIAL!!! Kairi is the Joy in my life, and she will be 5, in Sept. Thank you, God, for being so GOOD to me.

I just read your post to my husband, Robbie. We're in our home office on different computers. Sorry to hear about the loss of your Robbie. We also have four kids, but they're not old enough to give us grandkids yet! Our son's nickname is Jeremy by some of his friends, but his real name is Jeremiah. So many similarities! For me, there are three happiest moments in my life, the first being when I walked down the aisle to the man of my dreams. He has been my rock for almost 37 years now. The second was when, after five years of tests, surgeries and medication, the doctor said I was expecting my first child, our precious daughter, and the third was when my second child was born, Unlike most people now days, I believe in NOT knowing the sex of my children before they are born. The Bible says "I was knitted in secret in my mothers womb" and I wanted it to be His secret until He chose to reveal it to us. When that precious child came out and the doctor and nurses were yelling "Its a boy Its a boy" there is nothing that will ever surpass that moment.

the most happiest moment of my life is when my little angle Kirtesha come out of my womb...that moment i was just thinking "oh Pillaiyarappa (God) this is MY baby MY very own baby" n when the nurse place her beside me just after half an hour she was born her smell was soooo nice that i can still remember...

My happiest moment? When my first child was born, and the nurse show him to me. I can not describe what I felt, but it was unforgettable

The Happiest moments in my life were, the births of both my children. To see my oldest graduate from high school, join the army graduate boot camp and complete air traffic control training and still achieving higher. My daughters accomplishments in high school. Making strives on making a decision of what college she wishes to attend. Achieving great grads in school currently. Both of my children growing to becoming responsible people in society. I may not have always been the best parent, but the best one I could be, as a single parent that took the responsibility on when my ex decided other things were more important. Thank you

I have been blessed with many happy moments in my lifetime. The birth of every one of my children, and grandchildren. The marriages of my children which made me so happy that they were. The day I married my soul-mate who still makes me happy just by waking up next to him. I remember another very happy moment when my first child said, "mama". I totally cried tears of joy!

What was the happiest moment of my life? That is a difficult question as there have been too many happy moments, but one of my favorite moments was with my 4th child, Amanda. We live in South Africa and when Amanda was just 2 years old, we took her to the Cape Town Aquarium for her first time. I never expected her to last 4 hours there, but she did. She ran from one aquarium to the next enjoying every different sea creature. She watched the penguins being fed and she played in the children's area where she painted bookmarks and played in the sand. I have never seen a 2 year-old stay that focused and engaged as she did. 2 years later, and she still remembers the big sea turtle and the shark. Of course she asks to go back and one day we will.

Wonderful world

God gave us a world to live in, Food to put on our plates, Water to drink when we are thirsty, That flows down rivers and lakes. Animals that live on the land, Birds that fly in the sky, Fish that live in the sea, All these things that please the eye. When will we come to realise, What a beautiful world we have, We should all want good for the earth, Not destruction and all that is bad. So why do we have to fight, Bringing loss, heartbreak and tears, We live our lives each day, With uncertainties, worries and fears. Why is there so much bitterness, Let's say to ourselves it must cease, People should all come together, Then the world will at last live in peace. I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself... what a wonderful world. I see skies of blue, and clouds of white The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night. And I think to myself... what a wonderful world. The colors of the rainbow, so pretty i...

The Coldest Winter I Ever Spent Was a Summer in San Francisco

The Coldest Winter I Ever Spent Was a Summer in San Francisco Posted on November 30, 2011 Locale: San Francisco, California? Paris, France? Duluth, Minnesota? Milwaukee, Wisconsin? Originator: Mark Twain? Horace Walpole? James Quin? R. Q. Grant? Lord Byron? Anonymous? Dear Quote Investigator : Living in Menlo Park near San Francisco I have heard the following witticism credited to Mark Twain many times: The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco. I actually enjoy the weather here, so this saying always seemed implausible to me. Also, the San Francisco Chronicle once printed an article that cast doubt on the Twain attribution. Can you figure out who created this joke? Also, was the remark originally about SF or some other locale? Quote Investigator : There is no evidence in the papers and speeches of Mark Twain that he ever made this remark about San Franc...
