Is Silence the Language of Love?

Is Silence the Language of Love?

Don't you think Language is for non-lovers, those who are not in love. For lovers, silence is enough language. Without saying anything, they go on speaking? Why or Why not?

God Bless
Update : I am talking particularly about Lovers?

Hi...Times that words are not just enough to speak what the heart could exactly feel when it's filled with love and passion.
Love is a profound energy force that can be transmitted through waves that comes from the mind. The mind is powerful enough to reach out into the senses of the love object who feels the same way of attraction. It can possibly be a stronger interaction even if not much words or sounds are being made..
Or the passionate silence that may enclose two hearts that beat as one.
Real lovers can be sensitive to one another's unspoken languages of love..Hopes, the yearnings, desires and other sorts of feelings..

Because the heart and mind can speak so much more than any words that can ever say..

Have a wonderful time..!!

Blessings. Yes My Inner Silence is My Language of Love. so is Intimacy , poems, art , music,
There are so many different languages in the world; however, there is one that is understood by all. Love is the universal language. You may be able to speak but that's not nearly as impressive as speaking the language of love which may not even need words. After all love is an ENERGY, not an audible sound.
Human love is not a substitute for spiritual love. It is an extension of it." Love is a language which the soul alone understands, but which the soul can never translate. .. Where love exists, there silence seems very natural and joyous. When it is a matter
of loving someone silently then there is no comparison to this feeling of calmness.
Does there exist any desire to say something while looking lovingly at the lover ?. I think also that silence love is for all not only lovers as in a couple, for those who do not have a loving partner remember that some have child a pet and oyher family that they can love the same way a parent can comtenplate in love and in silence a child while she is asleep, the same way with a love pet a dear friend etc. Love can not be explained in words. Recipie of love can not be published. When no language was here on earth and no word was invented then also love was present in the life of human being and if it happens that all languages are lost again then also feeling of Love will remain alive with the human being. Human being does not need to use language to express the love.

Animals don’t understrand our language and we don’t understand their ways of verbal communication but we, both the species, very well understand the language of love and we easily communicate with each other. A small poem sums up very well the phenomenon of Love.Love is an endless mystery
    there is no other way,
    than to be in love,
    to understand it

Silence being the language of love, have its cons and pros.
You must have the understanding of each other to know what the other thinks of. So it's not really a matter of love, but of understanding of each other. Besides that, with silence, to show your appreciation or love, you must use body language--either to smile or a simple nod to indicate understanding or love-- which i think is also a form of language, isn't it ?

It's either communication or body language to show love. Standing with a statue in silence does not represent love, does it?

People can communicate in silence, with just a look in each others' eyes. But what has brought them to such a stage that enables them to do so? Is it not through communication ?

    :D

Personally I find silence to be the language of peace..
When you are with someone who you are truly at peace with and truly comfortable with, then silence is enough..
Silence is also the sound of no guns firing - peace...
However, silence can be the body of a lie..
Silence is the language of many things, many types of emotion and truth,
Just as a language like English or French or German is...

well sometimes silence is da language but sometimes been silent gives some disadvantages also for an example if both of u'll lyk each other but r not lovers yet been silent m8 made ur partner think u are not interested so silence is not always the language of love.

No, because the opposite of love is indifference, and indifference is expressed by silence.

There is some truth in what you say. In love, nothing is so eloquent as silence. True love cannot be spoken it can only be acted for love understands love; it needs no talk.

Wonderful world

God gave us a world to live in, Food to put on our plates, Water to drink when we are thirsty, That flows down rivers and lakes. Animals that live on the land, Birds that fly in the sky, Fish that live in the sea, All these things that please the eye. When will we come to realise, What a beautiful world we have, We should all want good for the earth, Not destruction and all that is bad. So why do we have to fight, Bringing loss, heartbreak and tears, We live our lives each day, With uncertainties, worries and fears. Why is there so much bitterness, Let's say to ourselves it must cease, People should all come together, Then the world will at last live in peace. I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself... what a wonderful world. I see skies of blue, and clouds of white The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night. And I think to myself... what a wonderful world. The colors of the rainbow, so pretty i...

The Coldest Winter I Ever Spent Was a Summer in San Francisco

The Coldest Winter I Ever Spent Was a Summer in San Francisco Posted on November 30, 2011 Locale: San Francisco, California? Paris, France? Duluth, Minnesota? Milwaukee, Wisconsin? Originator: Mark Twain? Horace Walpole? James Quin? R. Q. Grant? Lord Byron? Anonymous? Dear Quote Investigator : Living in Menlo Park near San Francisco I have heard the following witticism credited to Mark Twain many times: The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco. I actually enjoy the weather here, so this saying always seemed implausible to me. Also, the San Francisco Chronicle once printed an article that cast doubt on the Twain attribution. Can you figure out who created this joke? Also, was the remark originally about SF or some other locale? Quote Investigator : There is no evidence in the papers and speeches of Mark Twain that he ever made this remark about San Franc...
