Wake up,
Open your eyes
The world around you is silent
Look around, everything's gray
And nobody seems to care
Technology rules all around
The waters are turning green
Bottles and cans
The world's in our hands
Now look what it has come to be
Lions, bears, and tigers oh my?
oh no, not anymore
its planes, trains, and automobiles
clearing the jungle floors
Our home is rotting
from building and plotting
What are we going to do?
We sit on the couch
and wait for someone
else to make the move
Open your eyes can't you see we're drowning
In our disgusting ways
Make the move
yell it out loud
Be the one that's heard
Make the stand
For critters and plants
To see Earth live again

வேதாகமத்தில் அண்ணகர்கள் : வேதாகமத்தில் அண்ணகர்கள் என்பவர்கள் இக்காலத்திய திருநங்கைகள் அல்ல என ஒரு கருத்து இருக்கிறது.  அதில் விதையடிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் என்று ஒர் இனத்தை பார்த்தேன். அது ஆண்கள்/ பெண்களை திருநங்கை ஆக செய்வது.  இதையும் தவறு என்று சொன்னாலும் வேதத்தில் மூன்று புத்தகங்களில் உள்ள வசனங்களைக்கொண்டு திருநங்கைகளை ஊழியத்திற்க்கு வரவேற்கலாம். ஆண் பெண்ணாக மாறுவதில் எந்தவிதமான கலப்பு வித்து இல்லை. ஆணாக இருக்கும்போதே பெண்ணின் பாவனை வர கலப்பு வித்து காரணமல்ல. கர்த்தருக்கு பிடிக்காதது கலப்பு வித்து. “தாயின் வயிற்றிலிருந்து அண்ணகர்களாய்ப் பிறந்தவர்களும் உண்டு , மனுஷர்களால் அண்ணகர்களாக்கப்பட்டவர்களும் உண்டு , பரலோகராஜ்யத்தினிமித்தம் தங்களை அண்ணகர்களாக்கிக்கொண்டவர்களும் உண்டு , இதை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள வல்லவன் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கடவன் என்றார்.
