My Third Letter to My Father

Seven Different Things in One Article - 7

1) Best Quote – Always fight against the evil because that is the biggest enemy of good.

2) Health Tip – Regular health check-ups is always important for anyone. So get the complete body checkup and doctor visit once in 6 months.

3) Home Etiquette – Flower Water Bowl. Water denotes wealth and so water element should flow inwards as it depicts that wealth also flow towards you. Bowl filled with water and flowers kept facing the main door is considered auspicious. You can either place it on the floor or on teapai. Make sure to change the water regularly (once in 2-3 days). Something like the below one.

4) My Belief – I am an emotionally very strong person but at times I become emotionally very weak. And it takes time for me to get onto the track. But every time when I am emotionally down, it gives me a chance to think and understand the situations which made me down and what needs to be done to gain back that strength.

5) What is the one thing I'm scared of – Sounds funny but I am damn scared of escalators. I never ever use escalator. And my family members make fun of me when I use staircase at malls or theatres while they using escalators. Day before yesterday also, when we had been to movie, my mother was laughing at me when I was using staircase and she was happily going on escalator.

6) Did you know this – The legend is that the original name of Taj Mahal (Seven Wonders of the World) is ‘Tejo Mahalaya’. It is believed that there used to be a Shiva Temple called as “Tejo Mahalaya” in the place of Taj Mahal. This place was then renamed as “Taj Mahal” after Shah Jahan remodeled this place.

7) Moral Oriented Short Story -

Respect each other’s Decision – This is the story of a husband and wife. They had a 7 year old son. Both husband and wife were working. Husband was superior in his office. Wife was a clerk in her office. So every day, when they used to return home from office, they used to discuss about what all happened at their workplace. Husband used to explain how tough it was for him to manage a big team and people with different mindsets. Husband used to say that it is very difficult to make everyone in his team satisfied. Sometimes, it becomes difficult to gauge the performance of people when everyone is equally contributing in their job. Wife used to explain how tough it was for her to work under her superiors. Wife used to say that it is very difficult to work for such people who do lot of micro-management and who always follow her wherever she goes. She tries to explain her husband that her superiors used to annoy her by peeping into her work and used to follow her each footsteps. So both husband and wife used to get into debate discussing how difficult it was for each one of them to handle such people. This was a never ending story between both of them. One day, as usual they return home. Husband observes that wife was little down. He asks her why she was so tedious. She looks at her husband and gets tears in her eyes. Husband gets upset looking at her. He gets so much worried and asks her what happened. She replies back to husband that she is tired off with her boss who is annoying her and so she wants to quit the place. Husband could understand the situation very well and could feel what kind of pain she was undergoing. Their 7 year old son who was listening to their conversation comes to his dad and asks him “Dad…Why Mumma is crying? Why is she so unhappy? What happened to her? I daily see you both discussing on something as soon you both return from office. You both never get time to spend with me. You both always look so busy and unhappy. I want to see you both happy Dad.” Husband and wife didn’t know what to say. They get shocked at their son’s words. They then understand that how much it was impacting their son and how much he was missing them. Both the Mother and Father knee-down before their son and reply “Sorry My Son…We didn’t knew that you were missing us so much. We will never ever make you feel unhappy. We will now be completely taking care of you.” Son feels so happy listening to his parents saying such caring words.

Wife then decides to quit the job and husband welcomes her decision. Because husband feels that it was not only impacting his wife but it was impacting his son as well.

Moral of the Story – Husband and Wife should always have a mutual understanding and respect each other’s decisions so that it does not impact the children.

No Worries...Take Care...Keep Smiling...Have a Nice Day  happy

My Third Letter to My Father

Papa…see me today…I’m year and a half now. Ur baby is liked by everyone today. The metrics crossed 10,000 hits long time back with more than 60 countries worldwide. I still remember the first week statistics when people started viewing but never ever thought that today the stats would reach such a high number. I would like to thank each and every person for liking me.

I remember each and everything Papa…I didn't forget anything. I know I promised that I will come up with the book. But I don’t understand, for some reason it is getting delayed. As I always say, every instance of life is dependent on time. So it is just matter of time which decides everything. I will keep my word as I said. I will start working on it and will come up with the book for sure. This first release would not be intended to sell or market outside. I would be releasing 100 books at first release. But when would I release it, I’m not sure. This can happen in next few days or few months but it will happen for sure and I would offer the first book to U in the form of gurudakshina before I leave. Even I'm very eagerly waiting to see how the book would be.

Hoping everything will go fine Papa…take care
Always Ur’s
- Brindha

Wonderful world

God gave us a world to live in, Food to put on our plates, Water to drink when we are thirsty, That flows down rivers and lakes. Animals that live on the land, Birds that fly in the sky, Fish that live in the sea, All these things that please the eye. When will we come to realise, What a beautiful world we have, We should all want good for the earth, Not destruction and all that is bad. So why do we have to fight, Bringing loss, heartbreak and tears, We live our lives each day, With uncertainties, worries and fears. Why is there so much bitterness, Let's say to ourselves it must cease, People should all come together, Then the world will at last live in peace. I see trees of green, red roses too I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself... what a wonderful world. I see skies of blue, and clouds of white The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night. And I think to myself... what a wonderful world. The colors of the rainbow, so pretty i...

The Coldest Winter I Ever Spent Was a Summer in San Francisco

The Coldest Winter I Ever Spent Was a Summer in San Francisco Posted on November 30, 2011 Locale: San Francisco, California? Paris, France? Duluth, Minnesota? Milwaukee, Wisconsin? Originator: Mark Twain? Horace Walpole? James Quin? R. Q. Grant? Lord Byron? Anonymous? Dear Quote Investigator : Living in Menlo Park near San Francisco I have heard the following witticism credited to Mark Twain many times: The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco. The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco. I actually enjoy the weather here, so this saying always seemed implausible to me. Also, the San Francisco Chronicle once printed an article that cast doubt on the Twain attribution. Can you figure out who created this joke? Also, was the remark originally about SF or some other locale? Quote Investigator : There is no evidence in the papers and speeches of Mark Twain that he ever made this remark about San Franc...
